Manna Chaplaincy Program

(started May 2017)

Since 2011, the Manna Homeless Society has striven to meet its constitution which is to provide food, survival equipment and temporary housing in hopes of also meeting our long term goal of providing permanent housing. We work with other associations and agencies to meet the needs of the homeless.

Manna Homeless Society has always made it known that the bread of life (Manna) is Jesus Christ and the hope He brings. This theme is the reason for our existence. Volunteers are displaying this love of God to others by providing the necessitates of life and speaking the Word of salvation. We are providing food for their bodies and spirituality to their souls.

The homeless community crave this Word but most are not prepared to attend church, however they feel comfortable to meet our community street chaplain on their own turf. Some friendships have been initiated and some very encouraging reports have been forthcoming. This ministry aims to provide spiritual growth, teachings and encouragement to this community.

A separate budget has been set aside for those wanting to support this ministry.
